Baseline – You Must Have One
To find out if there are anomalies, you must get an idea of what is normal for your computer. After initial setup, you should look at all the processes running and look at the logs daily until you get a good idea of what normally happens. After you feel that you have got that down, write down the settings and the baseline on paper and use that to gauge computer activity. Without a baseline, you can’t really if unusually activity is actually unusual or normal.
