Beating a Keystroke Logger
The keystroke logger wants access to accounts and your system. Open a file in Notepad and type a few pages of nonsensical text. Put your password in the file somewhere. When logging into places use a copy and paste. It can’t be traced by the keylogger.
Firefox also has an add on that will scramble and encrypt the keystrokes before putting them back into the browser.
Keep all your files on an encrypted drive. For example, the Ironkey would be a good choice. Keep all your files off of the network unless it is necessary. You can always unplug and go home.
The obvious solution is antispyware, but the problem is that antispyware doesn't catch all the keyloggers.
