Internet Explorer
As you might have expected Internet Explorer has the most hackers going after it. There are many ways to monitor searches with Internet Explorer. Have you ever typed something into the search bar and it comes up with something that you didn’t type in. In some cases, you can get an internet hijacker. This means that all the searches you do will be going through someone else and they will deliver the results to you that they want you to have. They might make money off of the ads or other things. Do you ever see toolbars installed that you didn’t agree to. These toolbars, among other things, keep track of everything you do.
Firefox
Firefox is less used and gets hacked less. In addition, it’ is harder to hack because it has a better programming architecture. It is the browser of choice because it works quite well and is mostly hacker free.
Opera
Opera is known for helping being good at browsing with images. It is a lesser used browser and would probably be good against hackers because nobody cares about it yet.
It’s What You Are Used To
Firefox made tabbed browsing very popular. I thought it was weird at first, but now I love the tabbed browsing. In fact, the latest Internet Explorer copied Firefox and now has tabbed browsing. Once you get used to a browser you like it the best. I have used Internet Explorer and Firefox the most, but I prefer Firefox for its ease of use in changing settings and that it is more secure.
