Here at Hacking Beginners we are focused on providing ways to keep your computer secure. Perhaps the largest enemies out there are ignorance and apathy. Or, in other words, I don’t know and I don’t care.
Most people are currently compromised on their computer and don’t know it. Have you ever wondered why the new computer is so fast and starts slowing down? It’s all because of bogus stuff that hackers do to your computer. You can take back your computer by going to start, run, and typing msconfig. There you can eliminate many of the programs that get tagged onto your computer.
The hard part is that solutions aren’t really available for residential consumers. The industry treats the residential customers like cannon fodder. Home users are thought of as ignorant money makers. Many companies have no desire for the home user to be able to secure their computer. It would decrease the profits of many large companies.
What can you do? Most of the real computer security is only done for large companies and it is almost impossible to find a real computer security expert willing to work on a home owners computer. The most popular thing is to go to best buy and pay $100.00 for a someone from Geek Squad. They’re good people, but $100.00 isn’t going to come close to buying any type of security.
The bottom line is that most people need to learn on their own. That’s why we exist. To bring this information to the public and let them take back their computers.
