IPv6
Most of the internet uses IPv4. In fact, penetration is less than one percent of IPv6. However, IPv6 is more secure. For one thing, it is less prone to vulnerability scanning due to the large increase in the numbers it provides. It also enhances authentication and data encryption. Most of the people on IPv6 are large corporations that care a lot about security.
What is IPv6? It represents the numbers that represent IP addresses. The internet is running out of numbers and everyone will eventually go to IPv6.
IPv6 isn’t totally secure and has vulnerabilities and will still require security procedures.
